IEA WARNS DIESEL SHORTAGES COULD LAST INTO 2027
The IEA warns global diesel supplies could remain tight well into next year, as wars in the Middle East and Ukraine disrupt production.
Diesel refining margins hit a record $95 per barrel, while exports from Russia and the Middle East fell 1.3 million barrels per day in September.
Despite a planned 100-million-barrel emergency reserve release, the IEA warns that shrinking inventories could fuel further price volatility.
