According to Caixin: "China’s labor ministry on Thursday released draft rules that would set nationwide protections for workers in the fast-growing gig economy, including minimum-pay safeguards, limits on algorithmic decision-making and stronger obligations for internet platforms."
This should be positive for rebalancing and could provide much-needed labor support.
